Rules for Photography, Drawing & Short film contest

The other events planned by the MEA and the rules for submissions are as follows:

PHOTOGRAPHY

DRAWING / PAINTING

SHORT FILM COMPETITION

EXHIBITION

LEFT HANDER'S DAY

PHOTOGRAPHY (Technical & Non technical)

1. Maximum of 3 (Three) different photos per participant. Colour or Black & White
2. No editing of photograph, except change in pixel size and DPI for specification.
3. Obscene or obscure element should NOT be portrayed.
4. ONE soft copy in CD for all the photographs should be submitted. Format: JPEG 300 DPI (1024 x 768 Pixels).
5. TWO hard copies should be submitted for each photograph of maxi size (5 x 7.5 Inches).
6. While submitting the entries the following details has to be entered for each photograph in a A4 paper and staple the photos behind it :

Category:     Technical / Non technical

Title:

Theme / Description (Max of 100 words):

Camera used:(Any camera... can be used)

Declaration – on the originality of the entry

Signature.

6. Acceptance and rejection of entries are at the sole discretion of the judges.
7. Last date for submission of entries is 31^st January 2012.

DRAWING (Sketching / Painting)

1. ONE entry per participant
2. Obscene or obscure element should NOT be portrayed.
3. Size : A3 Paper
4. While submitting the entries the following details has to be entered behind the artwork :

Category:     Sketching / Painting

Title:

Theme / Description (Max of 100 words):

Declaration – on the originality of the entry

Signature.

5. Acceptance and rejection of entries are at the sole discretion of the judges.
6. Last date for submission of entries is 31^st January 2012.

SHORT FILM COMPETITION

1. Maximum of 10 (TEN) participants in a group.
2. One group leader should be named.
3. ONE entry per group, participant cannot be in multiple groups.
4. Obscene or obscure element should NOT be portrayed.
5. Entries should be submitted in MPEG movies format. Submit in DVD.
6. Maximum duration of film is 10 Minutes.
7. While submitting the entries the following details has to be entered in a A4 paper and staple the DVD cover behind it :

8. Acceptance and rejection of entries are at the sole discretion of the judges.

 All the entries to the above competition should be submitted to the Literary Secretaries of the respective batches.
