Mechanical Engineering Association Annamalai University: Teachers Day Celebration

The gathering was welcomed by Anand Roy III Yr Vice president of Cultural Club

The "Kuthuvilaku" was lit up by all the Staff Members of the Mechanical Engg Department.

Dr N.Krishnamohan Head of the Department - Mechanical Engineering delivered the special address of the Day.

Sangeetha Baruah of third year (Mechanical) delivered the "Dr. Radhakrishnan" Speech.

The Cultural performance of the students of Mechanical Engineering for the staff members started with the salute to the nation. A dance by Sumeet of Second year for the "Vanthe Matharam"

Followed by the hilarious MIME by the third year students - The "BARBER BROTHERS" comprising of Md Mozassan Hussain, Anand kumar Pandey & Keshav Rahan Singh

To showcase the Assamese Culture - The "BIHU" folk dance was performed by Sangeetha Baruah, Rupam Jyothi Saikia, Sunayna Sharma, Mriganka Deka from the II and III years

While the stage was prepared for the musical show the Lucky Draw for the event was conducted and the following staff members were the lucky winners

The social concern of the cultural council was marked by presenting an amount collected by the staff and students of the Cultural Council to the Old age home "ANBAGAM". The amount was collected by Mr. Sukumar from anbagam.

The Musical Show was conducted by Ravi Shankar Dutta (RSD) and his group. This show had 7 songs, 3 in Tamil and 4 in Hindi. On the lead guitar Ravi Shankar Dutta, The Bass guitar Rohit Borah, The Drums Ankur Jyoti Sharma all from the III Year. The Male Vocalists - Tanujjal Sharma & Pannu Goswami from II Year. Nitin & Ram Ganesh from the III Year. The Female vocalist Paulomi Roy from the II Year
