The registered candidates have been split into two groups that meet on Monday and wednesday for the training from 4.30 PM to 7.00 PM

The Inaugural of the Sports Events at the Sports Pavilion - In Pictures

The Sports activities of the sports council was Inaugurated  on 24th September 2010 - 4.00 PM at the Sports Pavilion.

 The programme started with  invocation followed by welcome address by Asish Choudhari Vice President III Year of Sports Council MEA. Rahul nandhi Vice President II Year of Sports Council MEA anchored the programme.

The ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY Flag was hoisted by the chief guest of the day Dr. G. RAVINDRAN Director & Head of the Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences.

The Chief Guest was honored by Dr. N. KRISHNAMOHAN - Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Dr Kalimuthu Asst Professor - Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences the coordinator was honored by Dr M. RAMAJAYAM - Professor, Mechanical Engineering.

The activities was inaugurated by Dr. G. RAVINDRAN Director & Head of the Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences, with his inaugural address.

Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. N. KRISHNAMOHAN delivered a special address to the gathering.

The Olympic Torch was lit up by the chief guest which was taken by Joseph Valantine Kumar  and Jerald P of the final year followed by Rishikesh of third year and Avinash Kumar of second year.

The Oath was taken by the participants.

The Friendly match between the STAFF & STUDENTS of the Mechanical Engineering took place after the toss and batting by the chief guest.

Results of the Selection Round of the Singing Competition

The Selection Round of Singing competition was held at AUMTECH 71 Hall from 10.00 AM onwards on 25th September 2010.

A total of 24 participants contested for the selection.

Inauguration of the Sports Activities

The Inauguration of the sports activities of the association will take place at the Sports pavilion on 24^th September 2010 at 4.00 PM. A friendly cricket match between the Staff and students has been planned. The staff members who are interested to participate in the match should contact Mr N . Muthukumaran Asst Professor. All the secretaries of the sports council should be present at the pavilion for the inauguration.
